It's Giving Tuesday!

Today is all about coming together to champion the causes that matter most. We are honored to have you as part of the PFO family, and this Giving Tuesday, we ask you to support Pittsburgh Festival Opera and our mission to bring the power of the voice to our community.  At PFO, it's all about the VOICE! But, did you know we're also passionate about education? Our  Opera Tots!  program demonstrates this commitment: Impact in 2024-25:  600 students in 10 schools experienced opera education with  Hansel & Gretel . Total Community Reach:  8,000 children and 600 educators engaged over 15 years. This school year, teaching artists are bringing Mozart’s  The Magic Flute  directly into local classrooms. Your support makes this outreach possible. Please help us continue this vital work with a tax-deductible donation this Giving Tuesday.   DONATE HERE   Thank you for your generosity and for being an essential part of our PFO family!...

Giving Tuesday is tomorrow! Your support has never been more important.

We encourage adult mentorship and assistance, but in the end, these productions are student-run.”   The awards take place at 7:00 p.m. in Hillman Center for the Performing Arts, 423 Fox Chapel Road, Pittsburgh PA. During the evening, schools have the option to present a short scene from their nominated production. The event annually draws around 400 students, teachers and families.   Productions from 12 area high schools have been nominated  – Avonworth High School, Baldwin High School, Chartiers Valley High School, Deer Lak...
