Chatham Baroque's Through the Wood, Laddie a Smashing Success

Thank you to several hundred audience members who attended the Jan 26-28 performances of Through the Wood, Laddie. What an amazing weekend of joyous music making and connecting together through the songs of Baroque Scotland and the Canadian Maritime Provinces.

And thank you to the weekend's incredible venues including Teutonia Männerchor, Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall, and Hicks Memorial Chapel at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. They were the perfect halls in which to experience the music.

We also thank our exceptionally talented guest artists, Pascale Beaudin, soprano and Chris Norman, for helping to make this music of the past present and lively!

Don't miss Apollo’s Fire's return to Pittsburgh with a new program based on Heinrich Biber’s stunning Sonatas on the Mysteries of the Rosary, along with instrumental works inspired by the baroque tradition of stylus phantasticus. Concertmaster Alan Choo joins Grammy-winning harpsichordist Jeannette Sorrell, Chatham Baroque’s Andrew Fouts, and a colorful ensemble to present their unique interpretation of these masterworks.

Pipe Up!

Pipe Up! envelops you in the rich and vibrant sounds of the big pipe organ at Calvary Episcopal Church. Join Andrew and Scott, with organist Alan Lewis and Kindermusik instructor extraordinaire Lynda Wingerd for a fun and interactive program for young children and accompanying grownups including movement and songs!

Especially for preschoolers and their grown ups, Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions encourage young children to become active and enthusiastic listeners through music, dance, and games. Especially for kids, but all are welcome. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Ticketed event for adults and children ages 2 and above. $5 per ticket.

Merrily We Roll Along - A Children’s Ditty No More
