Sandcastle Waterpark – named one of the top waterparks in
the nation by U.S. News and World Report – opens its gates on Saturday, May 25
for the park’s 35th Celebration Season. The unofficial start to summer kicks
off a season-long lineup of celebrations, special events and extra days to play
at Pittsburgh’s Hometown Waterpark.

The highly anticipated 35th Celebration Season is packed with the best summer fun in the region with Sandcastle’s distinctive blend of thrills and relaxation, exclusive offers and new and enhanced events. 35 years young and better than ever, Sandcastle’s multi-year transformation is complete with its vibrant beachy boardwalk vibe and parkwide enhancements. Bomb’s Away, the newest water slide addition features a 305-foot-long freefalling flight of fun at a jaw-dropping 26 feet per second. Mon Tsunami and Mushroom Pool have a new brick façade, backdrops and a waterfall element making it the perfect place to catch some waves and sun.
