Artistic Director and Conductor Thomas W. Douglas

About the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh

Caught the Bach Choir this afternoon in a concert that featured 17 works by 17 different African American composers. Under the baton of Thomas Douglas, the concert was held in the beautiful Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh in conjunction with Black History Month. The concert was well attended and featured a number of soloists as well as the Choir. Coming up on May 3 and 4 is a concert titled Motown Mania, that should include music by groups like the Supremes, The Temptations, The Four Tops and more.
