Shannon Crowley competes at The Met!

Congratulations to Resident Artist Shannon Crowley who is now a Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition finalist!

The Met’s prestigious Laffont Competition is designed to discover promising young opera singers and assist in the development of their careers. This past weekend, Resident Artists Lauryn Davis and Shannon Crowley traveled to New York City to compete as semi-finalists, having moved up from the District and Regional rounds—quite an accomplishment in itself! You can watch a replay of the Semifinals here.

Shannon will compete in the final round this Sunday, March 22 at 3:00 PM in New York City, livestreamed at Met Opera On Demand. Come cheer her on!
