  Celebrating Barbara Luderowski Jan. 26 marked Mattress Factory founder's 96th birthday   On Monday, Jan. 26, we celebrated the birthday of Mattress Factory's founder, Barbara Luderowski (1930 - 2018). This marked what would have been her 96th birthday.  Barbara founded Mattress Factory in 1977 as a space by artists, for artists.  As the museum approaches 50 years, we continue to be committed to her mission in all that we do.
