Plant a Tree in commemoration of King Charles III's CoronationIn keeping with King Charles III's wish for a day of community spirit during the Coronation Weekend, Britsburgh is partnering with Pittsburgh based non-profit City of Asylum to plant a tree(s) in the City of Asylum garden that will benefit the local community of the north shore and at the same time commemorate his Majesty, King Charles III's coronation. Non-profit Tree Pittsburgh will also plant trees (perhaps to be named "King Charles III Grove") during our Britsburgh Festival should we raise sufficient funds to do so. Therefore from now until this year's Britsburgh Festival which starts Labor Day, we are collecting funds in order to buy a tree for the City of Asylum and a number of trees for Tree Pittsburgh. Please give generously and consider coming up with your own Big Help Out ideas for May 8th. The trees will be planted during the Britsburgh Festival. Click here for more details. |
