A Few BIG Highlights + Looking Forward to February

As we wrap up January and settle a little more fully into 2024, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on some BIG highlights from the past year. We are so proud of the work we do, and are grateful to our community of supporters, donors, docents, and other volunteers - YOU! - who make it all possible. >> We welcomed nearly 1,000 people to the Espy Post in 2023 - one of our biggest years yet! Earlier this month, Wendy's Classic Corner visited the post and shared this great video - take a few minutes to check it out. And speaking of our Civil War programming, our April Symposium is nearly sold out. Secure your spot at this one-of-a-kind event featuring presentations from five incredible Civil War historians. >> During the last few weeks of 2023, we logged more than 10,000 visits to our Library. 10,000! In addition to that, we finished the year with dozens of free community programs, from Carnegie Celebrates the Season to a screening of Barbie, an Iron Flame book party, and a little bit of everything else in between. >> In the Music Hall, we wrapped up 2023 with a sold-out show featuring world-class jazz musicians Benny Benack II and Benny Benack III. We kicked off 2024 with another sell-out in our Studio with Pete & Scott earlier this month.
