Calling all singers! 🎶
Resonance Works is holding auditions on Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, August 25, for open chorus positions in our 2026/27 season!
We are seeking ensemble singers with a high level of vocal proficiency and independent musicianship skills who are at home in a professional setting. Most chorus roster spots are cast with volunteers.
We have THREE exciting chorus opportunities this season:
An Anchor in Time
September 27, 2026 at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall in Carnegie, PA.
Opportunities available for all voice types! The choral half of this concert will touch on several choral “anchors in time,” including works by Hildegard von Bingen, Monteverdi, Brahms, Robert Page, Margaret Bonds, and more. Rehearsals begin September 1.
Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil
March 19 and 21, 2027 at Heinz Memorial Chapel
Join us for one of the most stunning works in the choral repertoire! These concerts are dedicated to the memory of Pittsburgh musical legend, conductor and educator Robert Page, in honor of his 100th birthday. Please note: Casting for this cycle will prioritize a balanced ensemble and priority will be given to singers that perform with us in September. Rehearsals begin January 25.
Verdi’s Don Carlo
June 18 and 20, 2027 at Hillman Center for the Performing Arts
Don Carlo is one of the most revered and beloved works of Verdi and in all of opera, and it has not been performed in Pittsburgh in 30 years. We will be casting an on-stage chorus and a second off-stage chorus, who will sing from the house, surrounding the audience for an immersive experience. Chorus music rehearsals will take place in May, with staging rehearsals beginning June 1.
